Studying in Argentina, What living option should I choose?

I'm studying in Argentina (Buenos Aires) for eight weeks. I can either live in a triple in a student residence hall, live with a family or rent a single apartment. I like privacy and having some solid alone time, but I am social as well, so which should I choose? I am worried about the lack of control over personal schedule and the possibility of a personality clash that comes with roommates or a homestay family, but I'm also worried that an independent apartment might be too isolated. Any advice?
