Do I have some sort of STD, a harmless thing or something else?

In the last two days I have noticed four very dry spots on the shaft of my penis, small and appear a bit like dead skin; although one of them feels sore like a minor friction. I have jock itch and I do not know if that is related. I do wash daily and I am a virgin. Can anyone help to clarify what this might be? Thanks
