Anyone have any advice on dating?

Basically, I'm almost 18 now and I've been single my whole life. I'm sick of being the oddball just because I've never dated. What am I supposed to do? Is it just because I'm not a jock like all the other guys? I honestly feel like I'm missing a big part of this area of my life, but at the same time I don't feel that it's really all that important anyways. Help please?
