Where to take a jock on a date?

I am an artist type girl I love jazz and theater. And I asked out this jock that I like a lot..the only issue is I have no clue what "jocks" do on dates I am always with other artsy people. We live in a small town. Lots of outdoor space and little shops. I want to stay away from the movies because then we cant talk or get to know each other HELP!
