Buenos Aires or Mexico City to live?

I agree with Norbert, although I've never been to Mexico. I live in BA City and I'd say that this city has a great balance between cost of living and quality of life -dinner at an excellent French cuisine restaurant would cost around USD 30 per person, house wine included. Crime is not as bad as in Mexico City, for what I've heard, but I would avoid suburban areas around BA City. The country, Argentina, offers a variety of natural landscapes and climates, from Sub-Tropical to Sub-Antarctic, being July the coldest month, and January the hottest. Also, there are lots of expats living permanently throughout Argentina -I've heard over a quarter million.
